Four Things We Learned at IGA 2025
Digital Play Summit, "AI Everywhere," prediction markets + sweeps + DFS 2.0, and focus on omni-channel player acceleration reigned at this year's conference.
First things first: thanks to Victor, Allison, Ed and Jesse and the entire IGA team for all that they do to build the Digital Play Summit!
#1: Digital Play Summit grows and evolves.
Mighty oaks grow from single acorns. So, too, has the Digital Play Summit grown with new exhibitors and a great education program.
Omni-channel customers, AI tools and trends, mobile apps and all things digital were on display and up for discussion.
#2: AI Everywhere

As Mridula Rahmsdorf points out in the LinkedIn post above, there’s a lot to consider as AI takes (most if not all) industries by storm.
How does AI compatibly co-exist with tribal gaming? We’re finding out today, and tomorrow.
#3: Industry up in arms over prediction markets and sweeps.
The online betting world is complicated these days. Prediction markets, DFS 2.0, Sweeps, lottery proxies…the list goes on.
Strong opinions dominated the discussions on how tribes are playing defense, and more than a few conversations discussed the need to play offense.

#4: Grow the Omni-channel players!
If there’s one take-away from our chairs, it’s simply the need to grown Omni-Channel customers.
Quite simply: they’re a casino’s most valuable players, since they spend 6.5X more AT RETAIL than the average player.
